R. Adriel Vasquez is a Texas native born in 1982. He has never had a southern accent, and he knows about twenty Spanish words, fourteen of which are numbers.

Adriel is currently living in Amsterdam writing his debut novel entitled Miku Is Missing, a dark comedy with romantic undertones and body horror elements.

As Spirit Cycles, Adriel mixes field recordings with synth-produced noise and undisciplined rhythms.

He also takes pictures.

The intention for roadvas.me is to offer self-published writing and art, and a workshop to hold the author accountable as a creator.
